Downtown Kalamazoo enjoys the privilege of being a preferred destination for many students. Because many retailers in downtown value students as customers, they would like to offer you discounts. Students who attend Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, and Kalamazoo College have the opportunity to receive a student discount at over 70 downtown locations. With the EXTRA CREDIT student discount program, students show their valid college ID and receive a special discount. It's just that simple!
Some of these discounts can save you up to 50% (like at Burdick's on Student Sundays) and can be found in a variety of businesses. Eclectic retail stores, coffee shops, entertainment destinations, one-of-a-kind restaurants and brewpubs are all participants in the EXTRA CREDIT student discount program.
