Hosted by Downtown Kalamazoo, Inc., Santa’s Workshop entrance is at 157 S. Kalamazoo Mall. The Workshop features a quaint area similar to Santa’s real workshop on the North Pole.  Filled with animation, and toys to play with, kids can make their own arts and crafts and write a letter to Santa.

Santa’s Workshop is free and provides the perfect backdrop for taking pictures and videos – individuals are encouraged to bring their own cameras and video recorders and click to your heart’s content. Santa’s Workshop is operated by WMU students who are part of the Nonprofit Student Leadership Association Santa’s Workshop is a program of Downtown Kalamazoo, Inc.

Family Scavenger Hunt

Spread the holiday cheer and the fun of adventure downtown.  It’s a really easy scavenger hunt where kids can find some Santa’s favorite things downtown.  And, if you can’t complete the entire scavenger hunt during your visit with Santa, that’s okay because you can finish it up any time. The scavenger hunt cards will be distributed from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday, December 19.  There will be prizes for the children based on the number of completed “finds.”   And, if all of them are completed, you get a prize and the chance to win $50 in Downtown Dollars.
