Downtown is always evolving, growing and changing in the physical aspect. With that growth comes construction. Construction zones typically impact vehicular traffic lanes and pedestrian sidewalks. More information is available on specific development projects.
Water St. east of Rose St. will be closed beginning Monday, Nov. 25th through Wednesday, Nov. 27th,, for a crane that will be installing heating and cooling units into Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
Expect double lane closures for utility work along E. Michigan Ave. between the Kalamazoo Mall and Pitcher Street. Work is expected to be completed by Tuesday, November 26th.
Arcadia Creek Festival Place Seasonal Closures
Edwards Street (between Kalamazoo Avenue and Water Street) will be closed on ocassion throughout the summer to accomodate festivals taking place at the Arcadia Creek Festival Place. There will also be ocassional closures on Koopsen's Alley and Eleanor Street (east of Burdick).
